This is the full Privacy Policy for openclawtraderpro.com. We've tried to write it in plain English. If you read nothing else: we collect the minimum data required to run the site, we never sell your email, and you can request deletion at any time by writing to privacy@openclawtraderpro.com.

1. Who we are
OpenClaw Trader Pro is an independent educational publication operated by Dan Machado from Brazil. The site is hosted at openclawtraderpro.com. For any privacy-related question, write to privacy@openclawtraderpro.com.
2. What data we collect, and why
- Server logs. Our web server records IP address, browser user-agent, referer, and timestamp of every request. Used to detect abuse, debug errors, and produce aggregate traffic statistics. Retained 30 days, then deleted.
- Analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics provider (Plausible Analytics or self-hosted equivalent) that does not set cookies and does not track users across sites. We see page views, referrers, and aggregate country, never an individual person.
- Email list. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and the date you subscribed. Used to send the newsletter and occasional product announcements. We never sell, rent, or share the list.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name, email, and comment text you submit. The email is not displayed publicly. Comments are moderated.
- Affiliate clicks. When you click an affiliate link, the destination broker may set a tracking cookie that attributes your signup to us. We do not see this cookie or your activity on their site.
- Ad networks. Once we activate Mediavine or similar, the ad network may set cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out via the NAI opt-out or your browser settings.
3. What we do not collect
- We do not require accounts to read articles.
- We do not track you across other websites.
- We do not fingerprint your browser.
- We do not sell or rent your data — to anyone, ever.
- We do not embed Facebook pixel, TikTok pixel, or other surveillance tags.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / LGPD)
- Legitimate interest: server logs for security and abuse prevention; aggregate analytics.
- Consent: newsletter subscription, marketing cookies (ad networks).
- Contract: purchase of digital products (when we launch them) requires processing your name, email, and payment details through a regulated payment processor (Stripe, Paddle, or Lemon Squeezy).
5. Your rights
Regardless of your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold on you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data (right to be forgotten).
- Port your data to another service in a machine-readable format.
- Object to processing for marketing purposes.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (e.g., ANPD in Brazil, ICO in the UK, your national DPA in the EU).

6. Cookies
We use the minimum cookies necessary to operate the site. Strictly necessary cookies (session, security) are always on. Functional cookies (e.g., remembering your dark/light mode preference) are opt-in. Analytics cookies are not used in our default setup (we use cookieless analytics). Marketing cookies appear only after we activate ad networks, and you can decline them via the cookie banner.
7. Third-party services we use
- Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may log IPs for security purposes.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly analytics, EU-hosted, no cookies.
- FluentCRM / ConvertKit / Beehiiv — email list management (one of these, depending on stage).
- Stripe / Paddle — payment processing for digital products (when active).
- Broker affiliate platforms — Exness, Deriv, Binance, Bybit, OKX, IQ Option, Pocket Option, Quotex set tracking cookies when you click their links from our site. See their respective privacy policies.
8. Data retention
- Server logs: 30 days, then deleted.
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus 90 days for unsubscribe confirmation logs.
- Comments: until the post is deleted or you request deletion.
- Customer records (when products launch): 5 years for tax and refund purposes, then deleted.
9. Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data, write to us and we will delete it immediately.
10. International transfers
Our hosting and CDN providers operate globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your jurisdiction (commonly the EU, US, and Brazil). Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy occasionally. Material changes are announced in the next newsletter and dated at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance.
